En el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o, se han logrado grandes avances en materia de acci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica. Espa\u00f1a aprob\u00f3 uno de los Planes Nacionales de Energ\u00eda y Clima (PNIEC), m\u00e1s ambiciosos de toda Europa, China se comprometi\u00f3 a ser ZEO para el 2060 y la Uni\u00f3n Europea present\u00f3 en Next Generation EU<\/strong>, con la promesa de reducir un 55% las emisiones GEI para 2030.<\/p>\n

Aunque lo cierto es que, para los aut\u00e9nticos defensores de la justicia clim\u00e1tica, estos compromisos son insuficientes. <\/strong>Y es que, que los gobiernos hayan pactado estas reformas y nuevos objetivos clim\u00e1ticos, no significa que los vayan a cumplir.<\/p>\n

Actualmente la gran mayor\u00eda de pa\u00edses no son penalizados por el incumplimiento de sus compromisos clim\u00e1ticos<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n

O bien, dicho de otra forma, hoy en d\u00eda, los pa\u00edses no reciben ning\u00fan tipo de penalizaci\u00f3n por no cumplir los objetivos de reducci\u00f3n de emisiones<\/strong> o las pol\u00edticas sostenibles impulsadas desde la UE. El problema de todo esto es que, como ocurre siempre en pol\u00edtica y bien dice el refranero popular espa\u00f1ol: \u201cDel dicho al hecho, hay un trecho\u201d.<\/p>\n

Y es que el 3 de febrero de 2021, el Tribunal Administrativo de Par\u00eds declar\u00f3 al Estado franc\u00e9s culpable de no haber cumplido sus compromisos clim\u00e1ticos<\/strong>. Cuatro entidades ecologistas llevaron a la justicia al Estado franc\u00e9s<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Este caso fue llevado a la justicia de la mano de cuatro organizaciones: Notre Affaire \u00e0 Tous, Fundaci\u00f3n Nicolas Hulot para la Naturaleza y la Humanidad (FNH), Greenpeace Francia y Oxfam Francia<\/strong>, bautizadas como \u201cL\u2019Affaire du Si\u00e8cle\u201d o \u201cEl caso del Siglo\u201d.<\/p>\n

Tras emprender la demanda y despu\u00e9s de sufrir un fuerte silencio administrativo<\/strong> por parte del Gobierno franc\u00e9s, el Consejo de Estado dio un plazo de tres meses al ejecutivo franc\u00e9s para presentar cualquier tipo de documento capaz de demostrar que estaban llevando a cabo acciones ZEO -cero emisiones- y que la trayectoria de reducci\u00f3n de la huella de carbono de Francia, era alcanzable.<\/p>\n

Al no poderse demostrar este avance en materia de acci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica, Francia fue declarada culpable.<\/p>\n

Lo que est\u00e1 claro es que, tal y como recoge el \u00faltimo informe del IPCC, \u00fanicamente el 20% de los pa\u00edses est\u00e1n preparados para cumplir con los objetivos marcados en el Acuerdo de Par\u00eds.<\/strong> Sus planes de recorte son insuficientes para frenar el cambio clim\u00e1tico y sus objetivos de reducci\u00f3n de emisiones, no est\u00e1n a la altura.<\/p>\n

Aun as\u00ed, la sociedad cada vez est\u00e1 m\u00e1s concienciada del cambio clim\u00e1tico y act\u00faa para hacerle frente.<\/strong> Por su parte, las empresas est\u00e1n m\u00e1s dispuestas a dar el cambio y las entidades y organizaciones ecologistas, m\u00e1s activas en la lucha para que el cambio clim\u00e1tico se convierta en una prioridad.<\/p>\n
