Para proteger este recurso vital para la humanidad, es <strong>fundamental frenar el cambio clim\u00e1tico,<\/strong> cumpliendo con los objetivos del Acuerdo de Par\u00eds 2015, y mitigar sus efectos.<\/p>\n<p>El cambio clim\u00e1tico <strong>ha puesto en peligro el funcionamiento \u201cnormal\u201d de los r\u00edos<\/strong>. Un reciente estudio publicado este marzo de 2021 en la revista <strong>Science<\/strong> revela que las tendencias hidrol\u00f3gicas, es decir, el ciclo del agua, <strong>han sido alteradas por el cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Los resultados de este estudio, que analiza miles de series temporales entre 1971 y 2010 en 7.250 observatorios de todo el mundo, muestran que, mientras <strong>que en algunas regiones los r\u00edos se est\u00e1n secando y han perdido caudal<\/strong>, otros se est\u00e1n volviendo m\u00e1s h\u00famedos, con un aumento del volumen de agua que discurre entre sus m\u00e1rgenes.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\u00bb3.26.3&#8243; Debido al aumento de las temperaturas, el agua de los r\u00edos, embalses, oc\u00e9anos y mares se evaporar\u00e1 m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido.<\/p>\n<p>Este fen\u00f3meno tendr\u00e1 consecuencias directas sobre las precipitaciones, que sufrir\u00e1n importantes variaciones dependiendo de cada regi\u00f3n. Los pa\u00edses con un mayor n\u00famero de desplazados internos en 2019 fueron Afganist\u00e1n (1,2 millones), la India (590.000), Etiop\u00eda (390.000), Filipinas (364.000) y el Sud\u00e1n (272.000).<\/p>\n<p>Incluso en Europa, en los \u00faltimos cuatro a\u00f1os se ha observado un crecimiento de las migraciones debido al aumento los eventos clim\u00e1ticos, recoge el IDMC.
