Un gran n\u00famero de activistas clim\u00e1ticos terminan haci\u00e9ndose estas preguntas cuando ven que su vida corre peligro<\/strong> por defender la protecci\u00f3n de los bosques, impulsar la activaci\u00f3n de nuevas pol\u00edticas ambientales para promover la eliminaci\u00f3n de los combustibles f\u00f3siles o por presentar un proyecto de Ley para la prohibici\u00f3n de ciertas pr\u00e1cticas que destruyen los ecosistemas.<\/p>\n La mayor\u00eda de ellos viven o llevan a cabo sus protestas en naciones en v\u00edas de desarrollo. En un gran n\u00famero de pa\u00edses de \u00c1frica, Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Sud Este asi\u00e1tico abogar por la sostenibilidad y la transici\u00f3n ecol\u00f3gica puede resultar peligroso.<\/p>\n Las cifras publicadas por la ONG Global Witness no dejan lugar a dudas: el activismo ambiental es un deporte de riesgo<\/strong>. Cada a\u00f1o esta entidad publica un informe que recoge las cifras de activistas asesinados. Algunos de ellos son divulgadores ambientales, la cara visible de un movimiento ecologista, mientras que otros son simplemente manifestantes o abogados, pol\u00edticos e ide\u00f3logos ambientalistas defensores de la naturaleza fueron asesinados<\/strong> en 2020 por intentar proteger los ecosistemas y la biodiversidad de la Tierra, la cifra m\u00e1s alta de la historia, si comparamos los datos con otros informes.<\/p>\n A lo largo de la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada, m\u00e1s de 1.700 activistas ambientales han sido asesinados por denunciar a los gobiernos, empresas y los lobbies que m\u00e1s contribuyen al cambio clim\u00e1tico. Brasil, Colombia, Filipinas, M\u00e9xico y Honduras encabezan la ‘lista negra’ de pa\u00edses <\/strong>en los que resulta m\u00e1s peligroso practicar el activismo clim\u00e1tico.<\/strong><\/p>\n La selva amaz\u00f3nica ha sido el punto m\u00e1s conflictivo del planeta, con\u00a0342 activistas asesinados en Brasil y 322 en Colombia en los \u00faltimos 10 a\u00f1os<\/strong>. Se registraron 154 muertos en M\u00e9xico y 117 en Honduras. furtivas.<\/p>\n Por su parte, Dom era un periodista ambiental brit\u00e1nico que denunciaba la explotaci\u00f3n y la destrucci\u00f3n de los ecosistemas, que se hab\u00eda mudado a Brasil para poder disparados y asesinados en junio de 2022 por una mafia vinculada a la pesca furtiva en Javar\u00ed, un valle situado en medio de Brasil y Per\u00fa. Tras su desaparici\u00f3n, las autoridades policiales estuvieron busc\u00e1ndolos por esa zona hasta que los dos principales sospechosos del crimen, los pescadores furtivos y hermanos Amarildo y Oseney da Costa de Oliveira, confesaron el asesinato e indicaron donde se encontraban sus cuerpos.<\/p>\n Las muertes de\u00a0Bruno Ara\u00fajo Pereira y Dom Phillips<\/strong>\u00a0provocaron protestas a lo largo de todo el pa\u00eds y dieron pie a que las acciones cada vez m\u00e1s agresivas contra los activistas ambientales y las poblaciones ind\u00edgenas, se a\u00f1adieran a la
