Del lunes 26 al jueves 29 de febrero tuvo lugar el Mobile World Congress en Barcelona, uno de los mayores eventos de tecnolog\u00eda y conectividad del mundo, organizado por GSMA. Este a\u00f1o, cerca de 101.000 asistentes<\/strong> de 205 pa\u00edses han visitado el Mobile World Congress para conocer las \u00faltimas tendencias de la industria tecnol\u00f3gica, asistir a conferencias de inter\u00e9s y descubrir los m\u00e1s de 2.700 expositores presentes en la feria.<\/p>\n

Coincidiendo con este congreso tecnol\u00f3gico internacional, el 28 de febrero tuvo lugar el acto de presentaci\u00f3n del centenario de Telef\u00f3nica. JM \u00c1lvarez-Pallete, presidente de Telef\u00f3nica, elabor\u00f3 un interesante discurso sobre la importancia de trabajar para lograr una sociedad ZEO -cero emisiones-, y una cadena de valor sostenible.<\/p>\n

En paralelo, se mostr\u00f3 cr\u00edtico con la normativa actual recalcando la necesidad de cambiar las reglas para evitar \u00abventajas especulativas para unos pocos\u00bb y que tecnolog\u00edas como el 5G \u00abse pierdan incluso antes de desarrollarse\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Durante su intervenci\u00f3n, tambi\u00e9n apel\u00f3 a la creaci\u00f3n de una alianza tecnol\u00f3gica de operadores<\/strong> que les permita trabajar conjuntamente para reducir la huella de carbono generada por esta industria y limitar las emisiones GEI que provocan el cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n

\u00c1lvarez-Pallete record\u00f3 que Telef\u00f3nica ha logrado reducir en un 9% las emisiones, en un contexto en la que la necesidad de datos se ha multiplicado por 9. Y lo seguir\u00e1 haciendo con la expansi\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00edas como la Inteligencia Artificial, que requieren grandes cantidades de energ\u00eda para su actualizaci\u00f3n y mantenimiento.<\/p>\n

Y es que la protagonista indiscutible de esta 19\u00aa edici\u00f3n del MWC ha sido la Inteligencia Artificial. Los expertos aseguran que nos encontramos en un momento de\u00a0consolidaci\u00f3n y avance combinado y significativo\u00a0de tecnolog\u00edas clave como la\u00a0inteligencia artificial (IA) y el 5G<\/strong>, que estuvieron presentes pr\u00e1cticamente en cualquier stand o conferencia del evento.<\/p>\n

La IA ha penetrado en pr\u00e1cticamente todas las industrias, desde el sector de la salud hasta el mundo de la moda, la industria, el transporte y la seguridad.\u00a0Algunas de estas novedades m\u00e1s notables, recoge la cr\u00f3nica del evento de RTVE, son los sistemas de conducci\u00f3n asistida que, gracias a la IA, pueden\u00a0detectar obst\u00e1culos en tiempo real y tomar decisiones instant\u00e1neas\u00a0para prevenir accidentes.<\/p>\n

En el campo de la industria 4.0, la IA ofrece soluciones para optimizar toda la cadena de valor log\u00edstica, desde la producci\u00f3n hasta el mantenimiento preventivo. En el caso de las ciudades inteligentes o Smart Citys se han presentado aplicaciones de IA para mejorar la gesti\u00f3n del tr\u00e1fico, la seguridad p\u00fablica y la sostenibilidad energ\u00e9tica. Y, por supuesto, en \u00e1mbito m\u00e9dico o de la salud, se han presentado sistemas de diagn\u00f3stico asistido por IA, monitorizaci\u00f3n de pacientes y soporte en la toma de decisiones cl\u00ednicas.<\/p>\n

Kingfisher propone reciclar los m\u00e1s de 5.000 millones de m\u00f3viles utilizados en el planeta y aprovechar sus materiales para crear nuevos dispositivos electr\u00f3nicos o bater\u00edas para coches el\u00e9ctricos.<\/p>\n

Diversos expertos hablaron sobre los beneficios de la econom\u00eda regenerativa, no solo para el Planeta y la salud de los ecosistemas, sino tambi\u00e9n para el bolsillo de los fabricantes, que acabar\u00edan ahorrando costes en la obtenci\u00f3n de materias primas y su posterior tratamiento.<\/p>\n
