En la cumbre del clima celebrada el mes pasado en New York, d\u00f3nde Greta Thunberg efectu\u00f3 un discurso m\u00edtico para la historia de la movilizaci\u00f3n frente al cambio clim\u00e1tico,<\/span> 77 pa\u00edses se comprometieron a ser ZEO<\/span><\/a> \u2013Zero Emissions Objective \u2013 apuntando a 2050 como l\u00edmite. Adem\u00e1s, 12 pa\u00edses europeos, entre ellos Espa\u00f1a, Alemania y Reino Unido, se han comprometido a realizar aportaciones\u00a0 econ\u00f3micas al Fondo Verde Europeo, para ayudar a la transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica de pa\u00edses en v\u00edas de desarrollo. Uno de los aspectos m\u00e1s positivos del encuentro de New York fue el <\/span>compromiso de 87 empresas a reducir sus emisiones y cambiar sus negocios para hacer frente a los objetivos de dicho acuerdo.<\/b> Al fin y al cabo necesitamos a las empresas para conseguir cumplir objetivos de reducci\u00f3n de emisiones. Seg\u00fan el<\/span> Observatorio de Sostenibilidad<\/span><\/a>, en Espa\u00f1a s\u00f3lo 50 empresas son responsables del 34% de emisiones del pa\u00eds y del 85% de emisiones fijas (no difusas).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Ese mismo d\u00eda de estas 87 empresas, 28 adoptaron el compromiso de ser ZEO para 2050. Entre las empresas firmantes estaban Acciona, Vodafone Group, Unilever, Mahindra Group, Telef\u00f3nica, Iberdrola, KLP, Levi Strauss&Co o Hewlett Packard Enterprise.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
